Laura Dauden

Founder and writer

Brazilian journalist and writer. For the past ten years, she has been dedicated to the coverage, reporting and the communication of causes in major newsrooms in Brazil and civil society organizations. She has a degree in Journalism and a master in International Relations and African Studies. In 2011, Laura wrote the first book ever published in Brazil about the conflict in Western Sahara. From 2013 to 2018, she worked as a communication officer in Conectas Human Rights and since 2018 she coordinates communication strategies at IDDD (Institute for the Defense of the Right to Defense).


Carla Dauden


Carla Dauden was born in Brazil, but at age 18 she followed her passion for film and moved to California to study cinema. Since then, she has directed and produced films, commercials, documentaries and music videos, and her work has been recognized by major festivals. Carla prides herself on working with content she believes in and creating appealing stories with a socially conscious impact. She has worked with major production companies including Kandoo Films, Revolver Films, Passage Pictures, Fullscreen, and recently co-directed the documentary "The Discarded" with Annie Costner produced by Sound Off Films. In 2014, Carla partnered up with Forward in the production of the feature documentary "The Hosts", which is currently in post-production. 

Pedro Freiberger

Associate Producer


He has a degree in Social Communication and Visual Arts, a specialization in audiovisual production and also an MBA in project management. He is focused on integrating multi-platform technologies and, for the past few years, he has worked with cinema, visual arts and documentaries. Pedro also develops the beautiful contents in video, image and text that we share in our social networks.

Angela Carolina Mansim

Brand designer


Angela has a degree in Design and has been working as a Branding Specialist for the past few years. She has been managing brands of events and festivals, NGOs and technology companies. As a Brand Manager, she works on internal and external business communication focused on Positioning and Brand Identity. She’s the one who takes care -with love, experience and commitment- of our communication platforms.

Miguel Angel Herrera

Director and founder

Colombian producer and director. After experiences in communication companies like Vice and Bandeirantes TV channel, he founded the production company Shuffle Video Design, based in São Paulo and Bogotá. At Shuffle, he edited and directed numerous campaigns and documentaries for important international foundations, institutions and NGOs in several countries like Haiti, Peru, Paraguay and Brazil. He also has vast experience with advertising. In 2015 Miguel received the “Mofilm Mexico Awards” for two films produced for Ford Mexico. He's always personally involved with the stories and people he works with. 


João Paulo Brito

Executive Producer


Journalist with specialization in Production Management and Audiovisual Business by FAAP (Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation). From 2014 to 2019, she served as correspondent at the Mural Agency of Peripheral Journalism and contributed to portals and magazines covering mainly politics, human rights and culture. He was a jury member of the Vladimir Herzog Journalist Award for Amnesty and Human Rights, in the 2016 and 2017 editions. He is currently a content editor at the international NGO Conectas Human Rights.

Cristian Domingues

Associate Cinematographer

Brazilian photographer, cinematographer and editor. Graduated with a Bachelor's in Audiovisual Media, and since 2007 has been working for many cultural, advertising, and editorial projects. Has worked with clients like Honda Motors, Santander, GE, Samsung and Unilever for national and international projects. Is specialized in timelapse and hyperlapse format production.

Fabio Sung

Associate Audio Engineer

Fabio has a degree in Publicity and Propaganda and is specialized in sound design. His work received award at the International Festival of Socio-environmental Cinema. He has participated in the production of political campaigns and has also worked for brands like Midea, Volkswagen, Modeléz, Heineken and Santander.

Hans Denis

Associate Director of Photography and Camera Operator


Hans has shot numerous documentaries in Haiti, the Amazon and Paraguay. As a photographer, he has worked for the Amazon Museum and also the Archeology and Ethnology Museum of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, in Brazil. Hans also has experience in cinema and television. He first collaborated with Forward in 2015 and he is constantly searching for the best angle to tell remarkable stories.
